Jacob & Co. sends an Astronomia to space

Jacob & Co joins the elite list of watch manufacturers who can claim they’ve been to space with the Astronomia (Triple-Axis) Tourbillon Bucherer BLUE.

The watch was worn by Eytan Stibbe, an Israeli businessman who recently took part in the 17-day Axiom Space Ax-1 Mission.

The private mission, there seems to be a thriving appetite for this sort of thing and the market is getting bigger, orbited the Earth 273 times before reaching the International Space Station for a grand total of seven million miles travelled.
