The new Citizen NJ015 – or Tsuyosa to its mates – is making waves.

Chiefly because it’s a 40mm automatic sportswatch with a nicely done bracelet and it doesn’t break the bank.

Looking at this watch, it’s hard to make sense of similar watches that cost 10 or 100 times more.

Heritage is a component of the decision, and Citizen isn’t a luxury brand, but even so, the watch looks like a million dollars.

As does the ultra-shiny bracelet.

What I really like about this watch, though, is the fact that Europe, for once, is getting a better deal.

The Citizen Tsuyosa costs $450 in the US but it can be had from Amazon in different European countries for as low as $280.

The watch is available with a green, yellow, purple/blue, black or the inevitable ‘Tiffany-like’ blue dial.

We’d go for the yellow one, but that’s just us.
