Richard Mille and Ferrari announced their partnership and it then took them over a year to produce their first piece together.
It was worth the wait, though.

The RMUP-01 debuted as the world’s thinnest wristwatch, and it is arguably one of the most striking pieces RM has ever made.
And because of the shape, which is very un-RichardMille-esque, so to speak, the hype hasn’t died down like it did on other RM pieces.
RM designers put together an engineering masterpiece.
Mechanical watches such as this one consists of hundreds of components, so imagine how difficult it must be to fit them all inside a case that’s 1.75 mm thick.

Despite being so thin, the watch is shock-proof and corrosion-resistant, chiefly because it’s made from titanium.
In theory, you could wear this watch all day every day.
Most owners don’t do that, though.
Speaking of which, only 150 units were made, at $1,888,000 a pop.
Only three pieces are available on Chrono24 at the time of writing. All three with a ‘price upon request’ tag attached to them.
