The trailer for Season 4 of The Boys on Amazon Prime Video gave me the perfect excuse to talk briefly about the watch that one of the key protagonists, fans favourite Billy Butcher, wears.
Karl Urban is Billy Butcher, leader and founder of The Boys, the rogue group of antiheroes that wants to fight the rise of Superheroes.
Throughout the series, Butcher / Urban is spotted wearing a Luminox Navy SEAL 3501.BO.
Totally murdered out, it features literally no other colour other than black, except for the white markers.
It’s made from Carbon Compound, which is industry jargon for plastic that’s been toughened with a few fibers of carbon, and it’s paired to a black rubber strap. It’s actually a nice piece.
And just like Butcher, it’s dark and it looks like it can withstand just about anything you throw at it.
It is not particularly expensive either.
